The last topic of the year, for Year 7, was about animals, classification, and habitats.
After playing Guess Who to learn about classification (see previous newsletter for details), they moved on to learning how animals interact with each other and the importance of maintaining a stable ecosystem.
As part of their final project, they built a 3-D diorama showing a habitat of their choice.
They then had to include food chains and webs to explain the interaction of the different animals and plants, identifying producers, consumers, predators, and prey.
Some excellent models were submitted, and a few of them are shown in the photo gallery.

Please read the latest Nord Anglia INSIGHTS article on the topic of safeguarding in schools and the future of child protection.
Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of participating in the Nord Anglia Snowsport Expedition in the breathtaking region of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Swiss Alps. This was the very first year our school organised an expedition like this, so it was definitely a one-of-a-kind experience.
