My Year 9 students had an opportunity this year to complete a research project om any Science topic that interests them.
They were given one lesson every two weeks to research and put together a display outlining what they had found.
The topics chosen by the students ranged from DNA, cancer, hair and nail growth, exercise, and nuclear power.
A few of the best examples are included here.

Year 7 have been studying all about cells, and you have seen in previous newsletters some of the things they have been doing as part of that unit.
On the Science notice board on the C-floor, we have an informative display about “The Chemistry of Winter Festivals”.
As we approach the final week of Movember Spirits (and Mo's) are high!
