Thursday morning, Early Years and Primary parents were invited to school to hear from our swimming staff and school nurse about the crucial role of developing swimming competency during early childhood. The Parent Academy presentation emphasised the numerous benefits of early exposure to swimming, highlighting not only its potential life saving aspect but also its wider-reaching influence on child cognitive, socio-emotional and physical development as well as confidence building and overall well-being. As a school we recognise the significance of water safety education and developing essential swimming skills in our students from an early age so that they can reap the rewards for a lifetime. I encourage any parents who were unable to attend today's presentation to view the attached slides and stay informed on this important aspect of child development. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have further questions.
