On Tuesday evening we welcomed the BBIS Girls' Football team to play in a Festival of Football celebrating the year so far. The whole event was played in a friendly and fun environment where the girls from both teams could show off their talents that they have been working on in training sessions. Girls' Football has been flourishing in numbers this year and this was evident as over 50 girls participated. The games were refereed by a selected group of players from the U14 and U19 Girls' squad and the U11 BISB Wolves players were coached by other members of our U14 and U19 who lead with confidence and guided the girls wonderfully. I would also like to thank parents for coming along to support and the coaches at BBIS for bringing their players who added so much to the success of the evening.
