Last Friday, IB Computer Science students had the privilege of visiting the school's server room, facilitated by the IT head Mr Tamas Tamaska. This experience proved invaluable as students delved into the intricacies of networking terminologies, which became more comprehensible through visual aids. Eager to deepen their understanding, students posed numerous inquiries regarding the school's network topology and Ethernet models. Exploring the server room, they gained insights into the functionality of firewalls, wireless access points, and the interconnection of switches and routers. The visit was met with enthusiasm and appreciation from the students, who found it to be a highly enriching and educational experience.
