On Tuesday, March 19th, with six students from BISB we participated in a prestigious recitation competition hosted in Ferencváros. A total of 90 participants from across the country, spanning various age groups, showcased their talents. Notable judges included a Hungarian actress, a contemporary poet, and the president of the Hungarian Poetry Recitation Organization.
The semi-finals, spanning three days, commenced today, marking the first day of intense competition. Each age group will see only the top 4 participants advancing to the final stage. We are thrilled to announce that Zoé Mendelényi (Year 11) and Benedek Kő (Year 8) from BISB have secured spots in the final round, scheduled for April 6th.
Your support would be much appreciated, so please consider joining us to cheer them on if you are able to (Ferencvárosi Művelődési Központ, 1096 Haller utca 27. 6th April 15:00 pm).
