On Tuesday after school our U11 girls had their first taste of competition in the line of a friendly competition between ourselves and BBIS. Our squad was divided into four different teams and we welcomed one team from the BBIS. It really was special on so many levels; our U11 girls were ambitious, collaborated well and dealt with setbacks and success throughout the games. The teams were led by our U19 "coaches" Ella, Alvita, Zsofi and Zsanna (all from Yr12) who were gaining leadership experience in a controlled environment and we had amazing support from the parents of not just our school community, but also theirs. It really was a great occasion where students left exhausted but with huge smiles for their sense of achievement.
