In the recent end-of-season NAGGE tournament held in Bratislava, our Wolves U19 boys' and girls' basketball players showcased some excellent skill, teamwork and resilience, marking a memorable chapter in their athletic journeys. Despite fierce competition, the boys' team secured 5th position, while the girls' team achieved a 4th place finish.
Throughout the tournament and the entire season, both teams have demonstrated unwavering determination, team spirit, and sportsmanship. Their dedication to the sport and commitment to representing our school with pride have been truly impressive.
Congratulations to our U19 basketball teams for their performances in this tournament. Special congratulations to three of our athletes who were deservedly presented with MVP awards: Alex Lavenut, Inju Zhaslanbek and Rob Ainsworth.
We are incredibly proud of the progress and achievements of all our basketball players this season and we look forward to witnessing your successes in the future.
Our attention now moves to Season 3 where our U14 volleyball players will begin their competitive season. We wish them the best of luck.

BISB has been alive with excitement during this year's Humanities Week (3rd-7th), featuring an array of engaging activities across all year groups.
Year 7 were given just that item and asked to develop an experiment to show something they have learned during their current topic about energy changes.
As part of the Humanities Week, the department was delighted to welcome some of the parents from the community who are industry experts, to share their experiences and professional trajectories with the Year 9s at Talking Business at BISB.
As part of Children's Dental Health Month, our school's kitchen, in collaboration with the school nurse, will host the first-ever Dental Health Day on February 11. The menu will feature foods that contribute to maintaining healthy teeth.
