Year 5 recently concluded their study of World War II with a fantastic exhibition for their parents. Each student researched a World War II topic of their choice and created a project to display and discuss with visitors. To add to the atmosphere, the children also sang marching songs from the war as their parents entered the exhibit. It was a wonderful culmination of their hard work and learning!
On Monday, Year 6 had an exciting and unexpected visitor—a general from Hua Mulan’s army (played by Mr. Brown). The students were captivated as a letter from Mulan herself was read aloud, informing them that their enlistment in her army was required.
On Wednesday morning, Year 6 embarked on another adventure with a thought-provoking trip into the woods.
Year 8 Sapphire is raising awareness of sustainability as part of their Service-learning project.
