Last Thursday, parents from Primary had the chance to meet for an informative presentation by Louise Russell, Primary Personal Development and Wellbeing Leader during the first Parent Academy session of the Term. The main focus of the event was on the Restorative Approaches, to help and understand children managing conflict and amend behaviour mistakes. The session helped parents understand our approach represented in our school and to incorporate ideas at home as well.
This week the Music Department had a virtual Juilliard visit with our curriculum specialist in Music, Amy Christman. The visit was an opportunity for the Music team to have 1:1 discussion with Amy to discuss the year ahead and further ways we can continue to support our students in their Music learning through our Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts Programme.
The highlight of last week was our WINE & CHEESE evening at the charming Villa 11! Around 100 parents and also teachers came together for a delightful night of connection and indulgence, savoring lively conversations and good vibes in a warm atmosphere.
In Year 2 this term, our topic is about staying healthy. The children have learned about eating healthily, playing outside in nature, doing lots of exercise, and sleeping well.
