The International Summer Fair
We are proud to have reintroduced a new format of our traditional International Fair which took place last Saturday and brought once again our BISB families together here on the School campus.
Provided and supported by all the countries’ representatives and school parents, delicious dishes and hampers with national products for the raffle, traditional dress, lively music and performances from every corner of the globe showed the diversity and unique cultures that shape our global school community and make our school so special.
Thank you to all our families for sharing your heritage, all the guests - for spending this day with us, BISB Marketing department, the maintenance team and the AV department for the technical support.
A huge thank you to all our parent volunteers who prepared food and decorated their stalls, to Jon Taylor - for the music, Simon Marcu - for the chess tournament, Peter Ronaszeki- for the photos, all the teachers and Senior Leadership Team for sharing this weekend with the students and their parents; the Fair wouldn’t have been so vibrant without you all.
A special thank you to our Year 12 students who run all the extra stalls. They were exemplary in their kindness, smartness and willingness to help.
Last but not least a big thank you to the organising team for the hours of brainstorming and putting this event together: Lissa Berlouis , Judit Orban, Julia Kulish, Gabriella Ozaki, Balazs Scheidler and David Kohlert.
We are also proud to say that food left overs were delivered to the unhoused through Budapest Bike Maffia (BBM)
Finally, we would like to thank Igazgyongy Alapítvány for the donation of the international board games which were added to the raffle.
We are already looking forward to another great event in 2026!
