Dear BISB community,
As we wrap up another memorable school year, we want to take a moment to thank you all for your continued support, involvement, and enthusiasm.
This final edition of the PTA Weekly also marks a special farewell — we say goodbye to our school principal, Mr Ben Turner, as he heads off to new adventures in Switzerland.
On behalf of the PTA, we would like to express our gratitude for his leadership and commitment during his time at BISB. We’ve appreciated his support for the parent community and his contribution to the school’s warm and welcoming atmosphere.
We wish him all the best as he takes on his new role — may it bring exciting opportunities and continued success.

PATENT Donation
Our PTA representatives handed over a donation of 250,000 HUF from the PTA plus the staff donation of 62,000 HUF to the Patent Association.
The organisation was extremely grateful for the support, which will help cover some of the costs connected to their vital work in supporting victims of domestic violence.

Support the Igazgyöngy Foundation’s Summer Camp
Thanks to the funds raised at this year’s PTA Dinner & Dance, BISB was able to support the Igazgyöngy Foundation’s summer camp in Surány, which just opened its doors to the first group of children.
Our donation helped complete the outdoor space and cover part of the summer costs. The Foundation works with children from disadvantaged backgrounds, and the camp offers them not just a holiday, but joy, care, and community — a place where they can thrive.
We are proud to be part of this effort and thank our community for making it possible!

Your PTA
Last week, Year 6 performed our wonderful musical production for the parents and younger children in school. It was a play called Troy Story - it was about the Greeks and Trojans who were at war and had lots of drama.
As the academic year draws to a close, our Early Years students marked the occasion in the most joyful way possible, with Splash Day, a much-loved BISB tradition that brings together sunshine, water play, and the simple delight of being a child.
This week, our Early Years and Primary students took to the stage for Primary Poetry Day - a joyful celebration of language, self-expression and imagination.
