The students had the chance to safely look through a large telescope at the sun and observe sunspots through a special red filter. They also explored interactive exhibits, including the “Smelling Planets” experience, where they discovered the possible scents of different planets, from Earth’s fresh aroma to Venus’s sulfuric scent.
Additionally, they learned about meteors, their types, and how they impact Earth. After the educational sessions, the children enjoyed lunch and games in Normafa park, reflecting on their space-filled adventure. The trip offered a hands-on, exciting way to bring space science to life!
