BISB Students Take Social Impact to the Global Stage
Our Social Impact Prefects, Anna S., Anna J., Anna S. and Mate V., recently represented BISB in a Nord Anglia Social Impact Peer Talk, a global, student-led webinar series bringing together students, schools and Social Impact Leaders from across the Nord Anglia network.
The students shared how Social Impact is embedded across our school community, giving a global audience an insight into what it means to be a Gold Distinction school. They highlighted the important role of student voice in shaping Social Impact activities and initiatives at BISB, as well as showcasing our Super Co-Curricular Activities, Social Impact Student Union, and the events and projects that bring Social Impact to life throughout the school year.
The Peer Talk provided our students with an opportunity to share their experiences and ideas beyond the BISB community, while advocating for children’s rights and sustainability and demonstrating how young people can take an active role in creating positive change.
Experiences like these give students the opportunity to step into meaningful leadership roles, develop their confidence and communication skills, and bring their ideas to a global audience. They reflect BISB’s commitment to empowering students to become thoughtful, proactive and responsible global citizens who turn learning into action.
We are incredibly proud of our Social Impact Prefects for sharing their experiences and achievements with the wider Nord Anglia community, and for the meaningful impact they continue to make at BISB and beyond.
