One of the most enjoyable events of our Nursery calendar is when we invite our parents to come and along to our classrooms and stay and play with their children.
This gives the parents an opportunity to see how well their child has settled into the class routines and the different kinds of activities that are taking place during the day.
This year it was an extremely interactive morning with the children and parents joining in with our hello sessions, making lots of marks in the shaving foam, writing celebration cards, making celebration bracelets and playing games on the Interactive Whiteboard. To end our sessions we listened to a variety of stories and sang some songs.
Everybody agreed that it had been a fantastic morning and are looking forward to our next Stay and Play in the New Year.
