In the penultimate week of term, four of our Year 6 pupils, Magnus, Krystal, Lisa and Mark participated in the FOBISIA Maths competition.

Able mathematicians from thirty schools across South East Asia travelled to the hosting school, ABC International School, Ho Chi Minh, where they competed in group and individual activities.

After a very late arrival (2am), the children woke up early on the Friday morning to participate in the Maths trail which took place in a park, close to the city centre. Undeterred by the scorching heat, Krystal, Lisa, Magnus and Mark completed the trail with resilience and fantastic teamwork and scored full marks.

The remainder of the competition comprised of group and individual activities. On several occasions, teachers from other schools commented on our group's polite manners, excellent teamwork skills and enthusiasm.

A special mention to Krystal who came 20th out of 120 pupils for the individual competition and an enormous well done to all members of the team, Mark, Lisa, Magnus and Krystal for taking part and representing BSB Sanlitun so very well.
