The Nursery children enjoyed learning all about farms.
They read a funny book called Farmer Duck and enjoyed making the animal sounds and suggesting what the animals did on the farm. We then talked about food that comes from farms and talked about different fruits and vegetables before the children told us what their favourite foods are.
In class we made rainbow fruit salads using fruit from the different colours of the rainbow. We also did class surveys and strawberry came out on top for the fruits list and carrots won for vegetables.
We then challenged the children to make and eat their own healthy snack at home and we loved seeing the pictures of all the colourful fruits and vegetables.
