In English this week, the Year 2 children have been using their Be Ambitious skills to write setting descriptions.
First, the children used the 5 senses to describe scenes from the story. Our story this term is Jack and the Baked Beanstalk. It is a twist on an old classic. Later, the children used those ambitious adjectives in their writing. Year 2 really impressed their teachers with their use of interesting verbs and fabulous sentence openers.

Our Year 1 and 2 students shone bright at this year’s KS1 Sports Day, showing off their team spirit, determination, and impressive sporting skills! From running and jumping to throwing and space hopping – they did it all with enthusiasm and heart.
Our young adventurers in Year 3 took on two days full of fun, laughter, learning, and a touch of bravery on their Residential Trip this week. They returned with stories, smiles, and some seriously impressive new skills.
