Over 3293 Nord Anglia students took part, and 647 entries were submitted into the global competition, from 66 schools, so to be considered global winners is an outstanding achievement. All entries were judged by our volunteer NAE judges before the 50 winning entries were sent to our two Juilliard judges, who will decide the two Best in Show pieces.

The feedback our Year 2 Gazelle received on their entry from our NAE judges was: "Wow! What a confident player you are. I really like how controlled and energetic your performance is. Amazing bow control. Keep the hard work. I am very impressed."

The feedback our Year 6 Falcon received on their entry from our NAE judges was: "An expressive and stylistically appropriate interpretation. I really enjoyed your performance and how you balanced the piano against the orchestral accompaniment. Well done!"

Global Campus Writing Competition Announcement:

Congratulations to two of our Year 6 Eagles—their story “The Great Space Race” made the runner up of the 9-11 age category in the Global Campus Writing Competition.

Over 6,000 Nord Anglia students took part, and 140 entries were submitted into the global competition, from 60 schools, so to be considered a runner-up is an outstanding achievement. All entries were judged by our volunteer NAE judges before the 20 shortlisted stories were sent to Kate Peridot, our external Judge who decided the winner and runner up for each age category.

The feedback our Year 6 Eagles received from the guest judge was: "A race is a great plot as it inspires adventure and automatically creates tension - what will happen on the journey? Who will win? The twist ending is very satisfying - the two teams enjoy the adventure and meeting the German humans and find this more important than agreeing a winner. The story has good pace with fun descriptions, well placed dialogue, lots of action and there is some humour too, which is a lovely plus. The words in a second language are naturally woven into the plot. Well done."
