Summary of Secondary news in week 1/February (AY 2022 - 2023)

On April 21's evening, nearly 100 students of BVIS Hanoi received the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).

The 1st of October marks the beginning Black History Month in the UK which was also last week’s Project Day theme, organized by the Student Parliament.

KS3 had an English literature and Art project day on Friday 15th October where they read and interpreted Ted Hugh's novel The iron man, to create their own illustrations and storyboards.

Minh Anh is one of the students who have been studying at BVIS Hanoi since the first days of the school's establishment. Recently, the book ‘Woman in Science’ by Rachel Ignotofsky has been translated by Minh Anh and was officially published. This has been the second book that Minh Anh translated, after ‘The Mistakes That Worked’ which was published in 2018.

BVIS Hanoi’s Christmas market will be hosted at Secondary building with many activities, games and shops.

We joined the very last round of World Scholars's Cup and had a trip to Boston, MIT and Havard. On the last day, we came WSC with great excitement and left with joyful memories (and a lot of of medals and alpacas !! )

This year we celebrate 30 years of UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) - the most ratified UN Treaty and has played a central role to improve the lives of children around the world.

The Graduation Ceremony of Class 2019, BVIS Hanoi took place at the Intercontinental Landmark 72. The Ceremony honors the excellence of 14 students in Year 13 who have overcome difficult challenges to get the A-Levels certificates.

This year, we have explored a wide range of processes in Art across all year groups.

Congratulations on the fantastic performance of the BVIS World Scholar’s Cup team at the Hanoi Regional Round.

On May 23, BVIS Hanoi students from Year 7, 8 and 9 had the opportunity to compete in their first Mathematics House Competition.

This May, BVIS Hanoi and TEKY Creative Academy co-host the Website Design Competition 2019: My Website - My Profile to seek the best ICT solution and talent, specifically in terms of building and developing website.

The first Southeast Asia region Nord Anglia Performing Arts Festival ends successfully, leaving wonderful memories in the hearts of participants! This event, organised in collaboration with the Juilliard School, is high-quality programme for talented young musicians to get together with like-minded students from schools in the region.
