The annual BritCham Awards Gala was organised successfully by the British Chamber of Commerce and was held at the Reverie Hotel, HCMC on Friday 10th June 2022. Many well-established, leading British enterprises attended the event.
The BritCham Board once again recognised our school’s success as the leading bilingual international school in Vietnam, as BVIS HCMC won the award for ‘Great Innovation in Education’, thanks to our bilingual phonics programme that have been developed across the school over the last 8 years.
BVIS has pioneered a bilingual phonics programme teaching Vietnamese and English phonics using one single approach. A unique feature to BVIS, this programme enables students to learn to read in both languages and eventually become proficient at switching seamlessly between the two languages.
We would like to send a huge thanks to our wider BVIS community, who have helped to support us to deliver success not only with our bilingual phonics programe but across all other areas in our school.
