Year 6 students explore the majestic Madagui

Our Year 6 students and teachers have had lots of memorable experiences during a four-day and three-night residential trip to Madagui this week (March 7-10, 2023).

Madagui welcomed BVIS members with cool weather and majestic natural scenery. Feeling excited, our students enthusiastically participated in the camping and cooking experience, which challenged and developed important survival skills in the natural environment.

In addition, they experienced zip-lining, archery, mountain climbing, group and individual kayaking and much, much more. The visit also brought children a lot of fun, challenging every student within a majestic, natural space.

Mr Matte, the residential trip leader shared, “The Year 6 residential was a huge success. The children have returned to school with improved confidence, independence and perseverance. The trip allowed them to step out of their comfort zones and take risks in activities that some of them had never previously experienced. As staff members, we were extremely proud of how they represented BVIS by showing care and respect throughout the trip.”
