Spreading Vietnamese Cultural Identity at the NAE-UNICEF Summit 2023
At the beginning of the conference, international friends were thrilled to receive small and lovely traditional conical hats - a special exchange gift meticulously prepared by our student Apple.
"These conical hats not only serve as protection from rain and sun but also contain the rich history of the Vietnamese rice civilization," said the representatives of BVIS proudly sharing about this familiar symbol with the participating students at the conference.
Over the past two days, the delegation visited the headquarters of the UNICEF to attend workshops on efforts to bring about positive changes and had the opportunity to admire the panoramic view of New York City from the skyscraper One Vanderbilt. The next destination of the trip was the Nord Anglia International School New York, where the active members engaged in discussions on the presentation content of the Sustainable Development Goals conference taking place at the UNICEF headquarters thereafter.
It was wonderful to see that all student representatives made efforts to propose initiatives for a more sustainable future!
