Our Exceptional A Level & IGCSE 2023 Stats Speak For Themselves!

Our results are fantastic. The hard work and dedication that our students and teachers put into every school day does really pay off. It allows our students to go wherever they want in the world, to study whatever course they want at university, they’re able to follow their dreams. 

Every year, our graduates receive offers from the top universities around the globe, including in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, and Vietnam. We are sending more and more of our graduates to top universities around the world.  

This year, 1 in 3 BVIS graduates will attend a university ranked in the top 50 in the world and 2 out of every 5 will attend a top 100 ranked university.  

International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) 2023 Results (end of Year 11) 

Grades were awarded by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) or Pearson Edexcel on a scale from A* to G. 

• 37% of all our grades were A* - A  
• 65% of all our grades were A* - B  
• 83% of all our grades were A*- C 
• 77% students achieved 5 or more A*- C (including Mathematics & English)
• 9% students achieved A*-A in all subjects. 

Special mentions go to Tran Bao Chi, Nguyen Phan Linh Dan, Ngo Cam Phong, Nguyen Phuong Nhi, Lim Se Bin, Chau Minh Hien, Tran Hoang Anh, Nguyen Thuy Mai Huong who all achieved either As or A*s in all their examinations. 

AS Level Results 2023 (end of Year 12)  

Grades are awarded between A - E for International AS level.  

• 65% of all grades were A - B
• 80% of all grades were A - C 
• 96% of all grades were A – E 

We entered 83 students for their AS exams this year, which is our largest ever cohort. A special well done to Chung Que Anh, Dao Chau Anh, Dinh Quanh Lam, Hoang Minh Quan, Huynh Minh Nhat, Le Quang Minh, Le Thi Tram Anh, Nguyen Ngoc My Tran, Pham Phuong Nghi, Tran Anh Tuan, Tran Trong Trung Kien, Truong Ba Thanh, who all achieved 4 A grades in their AS levels. We look forward to seeing how well they do in their A level exams this summer. 

A Level 2023 Results (end of Year 13)  

Grades are awarded between A*- E for International A level. Any grade between A*- E is a pass.  

• 31% of grades at A Level were A*-A  
• 45% of grades at A Level were A*-B  
• 70% of grades at A Level were A*-C  
• 96% of grades at A Level were A*-E  

A total of 60 students at BVIS HCMC sat their A-Level exams this year. A special mention goes to Doan Phuong Uyen (Julia), who achieved A*A*A*A*. Special mentions also go to Tran Van Ha, Doan Khanh Dang, Tran Vi Phong, Lim Se Yeon, Ngo Khai Phuc, Le Huynh Thien Ngan, Tran Ngoc Khanh Giang, Le Van Toan who all achieved either As or A*s in their final examinations.
