Weekly Highlights is a weekly newsletter sent by the BVIS Leadership Team to parents, providing updates on notable news and activities at the school. The newsletter consists of three main sections: updates from the Principal, Head of Primary, and Head of Secondary.

Dear Parents,

A warm welcome back to all of our BVIS community. Chuc Mung Nam Moi! It has been wonderful to see the students arrive so happily at school, and excited to be reunited with their friends and teachers.

Prior to the students arriving back to school, teaching staff and admin have been at school since Monday preparing the the busy term ahead including First Aid Training ahead of the trips and a visit from Ms Zoe Vinten from Nord Anglia meeting with us to talk about Global Campus and what it offers our students.

The school is a hive of activity, with students and staff getting ready for expeditions, mock exams and all the learning planned. We know it’s going to be a great term ahead for everyone.

We have also had some CIS Peer Evaluators with us for the last 3 days, visiting lessons, talking with teachers and leadership, students and parents. To be a fully CIS accredited school, we are always striving to improve, to ensure we are having a positive impact on student outcomes.
Mr Scott Huyler and Ms Sylvia Johnston joined us this week and we loved sharing our school with them as well as identifying areas where we can continue to improve. Thank you to CIS, Scott and Sylvia as well as all the staff involved in the important school self-evaluation period for our school and the next steps to improve and be even better.

Our BVIS Summer School promises to be an incredible experience for students! With exciting activities, amazing teachers and lots of energy and enthusiasm, we think it’s going to be the best summer school ever! The discount rate is only available for a little while longer – Have you signed up yet?
Yesterday all BVIS families will have received 2 emails about re enrollment for next year. Please do take a look in junk/spam folders in case you did not receive it. One will have been from me and 1 directly from the reenrollment address.
Thanks everyone, your prompt response helps us plan for next year. We hope to have all our families returning next year!
Wishing everyone a great weekend ahead, We will back to full Weekly Highlights next week from both Primary and Secondary.
