Before moving to Vietnam, Ben worked in London for three years as a maths teacher, in both a secondary school and an autism specialist school. Since working at BVIS, he has inspired his students to gain a genuine love for his subject and has also specialised in running maths competitions and training students to compete in them. He loves teaching maths, especially in Vietnam, because he enjoys exploring and solving problems with students. Forming relationships with students is a big part of his job, and it’s what gets him excited to go to work every day.
Outside work, Ben enjoys running, reading books in cafés, and of course learning and practising Vietnamese.
