Chris graduated a four-year degree in KS2/3 Mathematics Education, moving straight into teaching Mathematics to students aged 11-18. He has since completed many additional qualifications, such as CPCAB Level 2 Counselling Skills, MEI Advanced Mathematics Support Programme and NAE Level 3 Safeguarding training. Chris taught in the United Kingdom for three years before moving to Vietnam in 2018. He has worked at BVIS ever since, teaching IGCSE & A-level Mathematics to students in all year groups. His main passion in teaching is the pastoral care of students and he started work as Head of Hue House in August 2022. He takes pride in ensuring the students in Hue house feel valued and supported, and enjoys helping students grow and develop. Outside of school, Chris enjoys playing football and catching up with friends. He enjoys travelling and experiencing all Vietnam and South East Asia has to offer.
