Jonathan studied History at the University of Oxford, where he graduated with a BA (Hons). He then completed his PGCE at Liverpool Hope University, along with a Masters in Education. He worked in the UK in Blackpool and Liverpool, before moving to teach internationally in Vietnam. This is currently Jonathan's 4th year at BVIS, where he currently works as the Subject Leader of History. He strives to instill in his students a passion for History, as well as to provide them the skills they need to strive in an increasingly complex world. He enjoys reading literature of many genres and writing his own stories. He also enjoys travelling around Asia and exploring both new destinations and of course, sampling new types of food.
