Van joined BIS in 2009, working with children aged 5-11. Her role at BIS included teaching the Vietnamese curriculum to both Vietnamese and foreign children. Before that, she taught English at Phan Van Tri Primary School in District 1, HCMC. Teaching at BVIS allows her to develop a creative and enriching curriculum for the children. Every day is unique and exciting, and she loves that she has the freedom to make learning come to life in new and innovative ways for her students. Honouring her Vietnamese culture and heritage is very important to her, so she is grateful to BVIS for the opportunity to help her students develop their Vietnamese perspective alongside the UK curriculum.
In her free time, Van enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
