Disney’s High School Musical JR. brings the beloved Disney Channel hit to life on stage in a fun-filled musical packed with energy, humour, and unforgettable songs.
At East High, students from different social groups — jocks, brainiacs, thespians, and skaters — are preparing for a new semester when basketball star Troy and newcomer Gabriella decide to audition for the school musical. Their unexpected partnership challenges the “status quo” and inspires others to step outside their comfort zones and discover their own talents.
With catchy music, dynamic choreography, and an uplifting message about friendship and self-expression, this feel-good production promises an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.
Following the success of Annie JR. in 2024 and Seussical JR. in 2025, Collège du Léman students once again take to the stage with Disney’s High School Musical JR., a vibrant production inspired by the globally loved musical phenomenon.
Presented and directed by our Performing Arts Department and enriched by our collaboration with The Juilliard School, this year’s production brings together nearly 50 students on stage in a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and artistic expression.
Filled with energy, music, dance, and memorable performances, High School Musical JR. will bring the spirit of Broadway to the stage.
The CDL Musical is far more than a performance — it is a transformative experience that empowers students to grow both artistically and personally.
Through acting, singing, dancing, and stage production, students develop confidence, creativity, communication skills, and resilience while discovering the value of collaboration and self-expression. Every rehearsal encourages them to step outside their comfort zone and support one another.
Bringing together students across year groups and backgrounds, the musical fosters a strong sense of belonging and community, making the experience just as meaningful behind the scenes as it is on stage.
