Dover Court Students Achieve Excellent BTEC Results in 2026

BTEC Results 2026 Headlines

• 100% BTEC pass rate across all programmes, including Business Levels 1, 2 and 3, and IT Level 1
• 60% of Level 1, 2 and 3 Business students achieved a Merit or higher
• 66.7% of BTEC IT Level 1 students achieved a Merit
• 75% of Level 2 Business students achieved at least one Merit grade or higher
• 50% of Level 2 Business students achieved Merit Merit or higher

Congratulations to all Dover Court International School BTEC students on their excellent results this year. The 2026 BTEC results reflect the dedication, resilience and commitment of our students, alongside the expertise of our teaching staff and the continued strength of vocational learning at Dover Court. We are delighted to celebrate a 100% pass rate across all BTEC programmes, while 60% of Business students across Levels 1, 2 and 3 achieved a Merit or higher.

The International BTEC (Business and Technology Education Council) qualifications combine academic study with practical application, enabling students to develop real-world knowledge and skills that support progression to further education, training and future careers.

Level 1 Business students delivered strong results, with all students successfully completing the qualification and 55.6% attaining a Merit.

Students studying BTEC Information Technology also performed exceptionally well, with all students successfully completing the qualification and 66.7% achieving Merit grades.

In Level 2 Business, all students completed the qualification successfully. Of the cohort, 75% achieved at least one Merit grade or higher, while 50% achieved Merit Merit or better.

The Level 3 Business programme also achieved excellent outcomes, with all students successfully completing the qualification. As an increasingly important part of Dover Court's BTEC provision, the programme offers students a valuable vocational route that combines applied learning with strong progression opportunities. Its continued growth provides Sixth Form students with another high-quality option that supports progression to university, further education, training and employment.

These outcomes are a testament not only to the hard work and determination of our students, but also to the dedication of our BTEC teaching team. Through high expectations, personalised support and carefully planned delivery, students are encouraged to build confidence, independence and the skills needed to succeed.
