“Open your Mind to Switzerland” Art Competition Winners Announced

12 June 2014

Whilst the Bastian Baker Concert was the main event on Friday night, there was an equally “show-stopping” event that took place before the concert started. Many students, staff and parents submitted entries into our “Open your Mind to Switzerland” art competition .

Mrs Tomlinson took full advantage of the wonderful Zone de Vie  and used all her talents to set up a stunning exhibition . The number, variety and quality of entries from both LCIS and Champittet was exceptional and made the judging decision very difficult.

The winners of our “Open Your Mind to Switzerland” art competition are

Category 1 – Primary (3-11years)  - Sienna for her painting of a Swiss Cow.

Category 2  - Secondary (12-18 years) Eliot for his sculpture of a Grey Heron.

Category 3 – Adult   - Odile  for her painting  “Change”.

Congratulations to our winners and well done to all who submitted entries.

Thanks also to Caran d’Ache who sponsored the prizes.
