When tradition meets modernity it creates something explosive. Our students turned heads as they performed a surprise concert in a busy shopping centre on a saturday. After an impromptu bucket drumming demonstration, they invited a traditional men's choir to sing a pop song from French artist Louane.
Making music with buckets, defying conventions, daring to mix different genres and performing in a shopping centre as if they were on a real stage: our students wanted to demonstrate that music is everyhwere and that creativity has not limits.
At the end of their flash performance, students gave away their drumsticks carrying a quote from William Shakespeare: "All the World's a Stage".
