Beauty & the Beast

The 2017 LCIS musical "Beauty & the Beast" was an outstanding success, and a truly spectacular culmination to our Enrichment programme during this first term.

At the beginning of December our Secondary and Year 6 students brought to the stage a wonderful musical production of "Beauty & the Beast".

Led by LCIS' Performing Arts team and supported by teachers and staff, our students sang, played music, performed on stage and were involved in every aspect of the show's production, from sound to make-up, marketing and special effects.

Take a look at the show's opening song, performed by the villagers ensemble and Sylvia as Belle.

Towards the end of the show, Issy - aka Mrs Potts - sang "Tales as Old as Time", accompanied live by Ethan, on the piano, and Antoine, on the violin. Her amazing performance gave us all goosebumps!

Bravo to all our cast for their dedication, commitment and passion, which shone through at every performance; to all our teachers and staff who gave up so much of their time for this production and to our wonderful community of parents and families who are always there to support the students every step of the way.

The students worked so hard and performed brilliantly and it was so lovely to get to know many of the Year 6 pupils.
