What is the Nord Anglia Virtual School Experience?
No matter where your family is in the world, we can still welcome your child into their classroom through our virtual school.
Your child will:
- Participate in lessons with their world-class teachers wherever possible
- Receive and submit assignments
- Collaborate with their peers
- Develop essential skills independently
- Be recognised for their outstanding work
Bringing creative and inspiring lessons to your child through our virtual school, our blended learning approach is designed to ensure that your child receives the full curriculum of education, whilst staying healthy and safe at home.
Our global team of world-class teachers have all the tools they need to share best practice and ideas for optimising your child’s personalised learning. Whether it is daily movement challenges set by some of our PHE teachers or lateral thinking exercises to help keep students engaged, being part of a Nord Anglia school means that your child will benefit from the creativity and commitment of 9,000 talented teachers worldwide.
Our 66,000 students are also connected through Global Campus, where they collaborate and create world-class ideas. Students may work remotely together, solving challenges like those set by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology or collaborating on solutions for UNICEF’s Sustainable Development Goals. Our students from around the world come together to support, learn and develop each other from their homes.
Learning on campus
We are pleased to announce that our campus has re-opened for our students.
As a school community, we are committed to working proactively to protect the health and safety of those in our care and are following Swiss Federal and Vaud Cantonal government guidelines meticulously. We have prioritised two key areas: the health and safety of our students and staff, and your children’s learning. Supported by a comprehensive Protection Plan, we have planned for a staggered reintegration of students as follows:
Early Years – April 29th / Primary - May 11th / Secondary (Compulsory Years 7 - 10) – May 11th / Secondary (Years 11 – 13) – June 8th
To offer the utmost support and flexibility to our families, we will initially continue to provide an ambitious Virtual School Experience for those students who cannot return immediately due to concerns for themselves or their family members.
During this transition period, our school is closed to external visitors, however, Admissions remains open and keen to help make the process of getting to know our school as smooth as possible. We welcome you to book a Virtual Discovery Meeting to join us for a ‘Virtual Tour’ of our school, from the comfort and safety of your own home.
