Born in the north west of France, Izza trained as a teacher at Christ Church University in Canterbury Kent, UK. After qualifying, she worked in various secondary schools in North Kent, teaching languages and humanities to students with challenging home lives. This experience made Izza realise how powerful education can be, both academically and emotionally.
After 6 years in the UK Izza decided to explore international school teaching and joined a primary school in Dubai as Head of French. Recognised for her positive influence in pedagogy, Izza was offered to help open a brand new school, in Dubai, and lead the Language department there. 2 years after, the school was welcoming over 2000 students and made languages and mindfulness its 2 core pillars.
Izza relocated to Switzerland in 2018 to get closer to her home and family but also to live in the beautiful environment Switzerland offers, skiing and trail running being her passion, it couldn't be more perfect! She is delighted to join the LCIS community leading the Primary French department and is looking forward to meeting all the students and parents.
