Laura is originally from South Wales in the United Kingdom. Since achieving an Honours Degree in Primary Education with a music specialism, she has taught a range of ages in the UK, Mexico, Germany, United Arab Emirates and Switzerland. She strives to create a stimulating environment where relevant and purposeful learning can be experienced. Her passion is seen through her strong personal drive and commitment to all of her students to reach their individual potentials.
Laura has lived in Switzerland for a year, here she has happily led an active and outdoor life. She is a keen cyclist and runner, often heading to the hills on weekends to explore trails and new routes. Skiing was a new sport she found this year, thanks to supporting a school residential trip. She is looking forward to continue developing these skills during the next ski season. Laura has tried hard to improve her French conversation skills and she is determined to be more courageous this year to begin conversations with native French speakers.
As a new member of the LCIS team, Laura is excited to contribute positively to and form strong connections with everyone within the community!
