Professional violin and viola player, teacher with experience in performing, developing and organizing music in all its aspects, Timothée Weiss graduated from Geneva University of Music and Tel Aviv University Buchmann Mehta school of Music.
He is a passionate music educator and a leader with several years of experiences working in France and Switzerland. He has been teaching music for over 5 years in private schools in Gex, Geneva and music theory at music school.
His activity as a music educator is shared with his first passion as a musician. He performs as a soloist, a leader section in various orchestras or in chamber music groups around the world playing in Europe, Asia and Middle East. He won the 2nd price at the Tel Aviv contemporary music competition in 2013. Classical music is a part of his repertoire, but he also likes improvising in concerts. In his previous school he was leading and conducting a 200-students choir.
Beside music, Timothée in his spare time studied hebrew at Jerusalem and Haifa Universities, he likes doing sports, traveling, art painting and baking.
He joined La Côte International School in 2019.
