Aleasha Tebbutt Ford

Teacher of English as Additional Language (EAL)

Aleasha graduated from University of Plymouth, UK in 1995 with a degree in Education (BEd Hons.) She then trained to teach English as a Foreign Language and subsequently worked in Slovakia and Russia. In these countries she taught all ages and levels; was promoted to Director of Studies; and held lectures and training seminars to Russian teachers of English in Moscow, St Petersburg and Samara.

In 2000, she started teaching in an International School in Moscow as a Primary Class Teacher. During her time there, she taught both Key Stages 1 & 2 and also became the EAL Co-ordinator across the Primary Department. In her final year at this school, she taught English and Drama in the Secondary Department which was offered after several successful theatrical shows she had directed.

After time out to be a full-time mother, travelling spouse and a dog hotelier; she returned to work in 2019 as an English teacher in Lausanne before joining the LCIS family in August. Aleasha is passionate about animals, nature, good friends, travel and wellbeing.
