My name is Romain Buré. I was born in France, growing up in Belfort before studying at the University of Grenoble. I undertook an Erasmus year at Newcastle University where I finished my BA in English Language, Literature and History. Following this year abroad, I worked as a French language assistant in Aberdeen in Scotland before completing my teacher training in French language acquisition at Aberdeen University.
After continuing to teach in Scotland, I joined my first international school in Switzerland 7 years ago and I have greatly enjoyed all of the opportunities that living and working here has given me, both professionally and socially. I am a member of the Club Alpin and I am a very active mountaineer all year round (climbing, ski-touring, etc). I have recently moved to Rolle and I very much look forward to joining the French department in the coming academic year.
