Dean Taylor

Dean Taylor

Teacher of Physics

My name is Dean Taylor. I was born in the UK and graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Physics, B.Sc. (Hons.). After a short spell in industry working in Health Physics for the UK Atomic Energy Authority I returned to academia to obtain a PGCE from the University of Bath.

I'm passionate about my subject and I love to nurture the natural curiosity that all young people have for the fascinating world which surrounds them.

I am married and have two girls who will be joining the School with me this year. My family enjoy many outdoor pursuits while I have a particular interest in 3D photography. We tour Europe widely and have been holidaying in the Leman region for many years. My wife and girls are looking forward to spending more time in the lake (they don't seem to feel the cold) while I'm looking forward to spending more time kayaking on the lake (I prefer to stay warm and dry!).
