Nicola Perceval joined LCIS in 2016 and teaches French at MYP and English B at DP as well as co-ordinating and supporting our EAL students. Since January 2018, Nicola is also Head of Pastoral Welfare in the secondary school, a new role in the school designed to promote and support the well-being of our students.
She grew up in Scotland and has since lived and worked in France and Spain and more recently in the US where she taught French and Spanish at the British International School of Washington (DC) and was Chair of World Languages. She previously worked for LVMH in London and Epernay where she co-ordinated and organised their corporate events.
She studied at Oxford Brookes University where she gained her degrees in French and Hospitality and her PGCE before teaching for four years in UK state schools in Berkshire. She is passionate about promoting a love of languages in her students and equipping them with this essential skill in today’s world.
She moved to Switzerland with her husband and two children in 2014. She is a keen skier and loves to make the most of all the outdoor adventures to be had in this beautiful country.
