Conviction, Teamwork, and Fun
San Roberto International School offers an afterschool athletics program designed for students who want to explore their athletic talents. It is a great way for our students to grow physically, emotionally and socially both on and off the field.
By practicing sports, students learn to set goals and work hard to achieve them. They explore competition and cooperation, learning how to push themselves to do their best and be part of a team effort. In addition, they learn about the importance of good sportsmanship, build their self-esteem, and foster good health habits.
Preschool students start their athletic education in a program that combines soccer, basketball, and track and field instruction. They learn the basics on all three disciplines, while developing a general knowledge of sportsmanship and team effort. When they enter elementary, students have the option of training in all three disciplines individually, or choose the one they like the most.
Our teams “Bucks” compete in several local, national - Asomex - and international - The Global Games – tournaments with excellent results.
Other afterschool athletic options for students starting in preschool include martial arts and mini tennis.
