Secondary Update – From Mr Simon Graves 30/10/2015

30 October 2015

I hope you had a wonderfully relaxing half term. I had the pleasure of travelling up to Hoi An, one of my favourite spots in Vietnam, and perfect for recharging the batteries!

Just before we broke up, we received some fantastic news about just how highly our year 12 and 13 students achieved in last summer’s exams. These four girls are an absolute credit to the school and themselves – we are all very proud of them.

On the last Friday before half term, I took members of the student council over to BIS for their International Day. It was a great opportunity to build further links with our sister school and the students conducted themselves impeccably

We’ve enjoyed more success this week with winners in the Badminton City Championships and some more amazing performances in the City Monologue Competition. Although only four years old, we are showing that our students can compete with – and beat – the best in a whole range of disciplines, academic and sporting.

Next week, when CIS visit, I am sure they will see exactly that: a top quality school, filled with fantastic students and staff.

Have a wonderful weekend.
