What a fantastic year it has been here at BVIS. I have thoroughly enjoyed my first year as Principal and would like to thank you for your support over this marvelous year. You will see from the Yearbook just a selection of some of the most amazing memories and it is hard to believe how quickly the year has gone!
I firmly believe that we have achieved a great deal this year including membership of FOBISIA, outstanding examination results and further improved communication channels with you as parents. The success of this year of course would not have been so great if it were not for the excellent students we have in the school and their enormous contributions they have made to making BVIS a great school to be in.
This week we had an array of events and activities and have really ended the year on an enormous high. You will see on the hub the array of activities and events in this final week of term.
I would like to say a huge thank you to all the teachers and support staff that have further enhanced and enriched the learning experiences for young people here at school. They have worked tirelessly to ensure that the students have received a very high quality of education and extra-curricular activities and I know you will join me in thanking them all for their contribution.
Today we also said farewell to a small number of staff who have served the school well and are now moving on in their careers either back in the UK or to other exciting teaching adventures around the world. They will be sorely missed by us and we thank them for their dedication to the school and wish them every success in the future.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and safe holiday and I look forward to seeing you back here in August.
