03/10/16 - Under 19 Boys Volleyball vs Singapore International School

07 October 2016

The Boys Under 19 team started our season with a home match against Singapore International School. The hard work they had been putting into training seemed to be paying off, as we controlled the first set.

The second set saw SIS serving with more power and accuracy, and we struggled more with receiving the ball. Our attacks were less potent and we were forced into making too many mistakes. Game tied at one set all.

The deciding set looked to be going the same way as set two, with the relentless SIS serving causing us problems. Our boys, however, fought their way back with some simple, but effective, play and put us in with a chance. Kiet (Jack) closed out the match in style with a stunning ace down the line.

Well done boys - a winning start!

MVP: Bao - consistently ferocious serving and excellent all-round play.
