Congratulations to Phuc Thien, our Year 11 student, for successfully representing BVIS as a Student Ambassador at the 2025 Nord Anglia Student Summit held in Houston, Texas.
Taking place from June 21st to 28th, the summit was hosted by The Village School and the British International School of Houston. This year’s theme, Leadership, brought together over 160 students from 54 Nord Anglia schools around the world. The event was organised in partnership with UNICEF, aiming to develop leadership skills, global awareness, and actionable solutions aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As a delegate, Phuc Thien participated in:
“We were honoured to welcome over 160 student leaders from across the globe to Houston this year,” said Dr. Leslie Williams, Nord Anglia’s Head of Social Impact and Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (EDIB).
“We look forward to seeing how these young changemakers continue to grow their leadership skills and voices, developing sustainable solutions for both local and global communities—anchored in the SDGs and children’s rights,” she added.
