This week in the Primary School

Love BVIS!

What a fabulous week we’ve had - full of fun activities and competitions, and lots and lots of love for our school!

“Love BVIS” week started with the children writing messages to hang on our tree in the Primary foyer. By the end of the week the tree was completely covered with these messages so I thought I’d share just a few written by our Primary children:

“I love BVIS because the teachers always care for me and love me.”

“I love BVIS because I have a lot of friends in BVIS.”

“I love BVIS because teachers teach a lot of new things.”

“I love BVIS because I can compete in FOBISIA.”

“I love BVIS because it’s an amazing school.”

“I love BVIS because we can do things that we can’t do in other schools.”

“I love BVIS because it’s a great place to learn.”

The “Love BVIS” photo competition has proved to be extremely popular with some creative entries. Voting for the winner from a shortlist of 6 in each category took place in the foyer on Wednesday and Thursday. The winners were announced in Friday’s assembly by Mr Holyome – we hope they enjoy their well-deserved prizes!

Friday’s assembly also included our special “Love BVIS” song adapted by Mr Fergus from a Beatles original with extra words written by our Vietnamese Support teacher, Ms Yen.
