This week in the Primary School

Sporting Success

In last week’s Primary School assembly and in this week’s too, we have celebrated the sporting success of our children.

Last week Thao Linh (6S) and Nam Phuong (6B) were runners up in the Under 11 Girls’ Badminton City Championships.  Their achievement in the girls’ doubles was hard-fought having had to play against 16 other international school teams to get 2nd place.

1st place BIS-AP1

2nd place BVIS 2

This week it was the turn of our basketball squad who won the Under 11 Girls Basketball City Championships. Again they had played against teams from 7 other leading international schools in Ho Chi Minh City to be crowned the overall winners.

Congratulations to all our girls who took part and to their coaches, Mr Duc for badminton and Ms Victoria for basketball. We are very proud of their success!
