A very warm welcome back and I hope you and your families had a very relaxing break. It is very strange coming back to school knowing we only have a few weeks until the Tet holiday.
The term has started extremely well. As you know we are always striving to ensure that our students are well placed to become global citizens of the future. As well as the Nord Anglia Global Campus initiatives that we are running, we have engaged the whole school in an exciting week. It has been fabulous to see the studentsexplore many countries from around the world, looking at culture, language, art, history and sport from across the globe. It has been such a great way to start the year and a great deal of fun and excitement has been evident over the last few days.
Thank you to all those parents who attended the Seminar on applying to College and University last night. We hope that you found the session useful and Mr Curran will be hosting a coffee morning in due course as a follow up to the session. It is most evident in the school that having Mr Curran working with our students to help, guide and advise them on applying to colleges and universities has been hugely beneficial and some amazing work has been carried out over the last term.
You will have received yesterday via email, details about our upcoming Tet Festival taking place on Sunday 15th January. Yet again this promises to be a very popular and successful event and I hope many of you and your families will be able to join us to celebrate this very special time in Vietnam. I have provided again the link for your register for an invitation ticket below. You must register your attendance before Tuesday 10th January. Please also note that entrance will only be granted with a valid invitation ticket, you will not be able to enter the event without an invitation.
